Today I want to dive into something that’s close to my heart and, I bet, a concern for many of you too—memory loss. It’s that sneaky thief that can strike at any age, leaving us doubting our mental sharpness.
As a parent I’m always looking at ways to best help my children make the most of their little brains. Here are 3 quick memory tips you can help your child with right now that will start building fundamental mind skills to help with school and everyday life.
Learn and create a Memory Palace.
Enhance your imagination abilities through models like SMASHIN SCOPE and VAI.
Practice small amounts per day, as opposed to larger chunks
Train with different materials such as numbers, words, names, playing cards, street names, instructions, directions, even other languages.
Use a log tool such as a spreadsheet to track your progress
