Yesterday I witnessed one of the most amazing UFC fights I’ve seen with Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski. Congrats to Islam Makhachev for the win by decision. To say these achievements were a result of being born with a special gift annoys me. It discounts a lot of the sheer amount of hours and hard work, adversity and stress and efforts put in to make those accomplishments a reality.
